Who Operates the Site and Acceptance of the Terms

newsalix operates this website as a professional hub dedicated to live television production training and resources. By accessing or using any part of the site you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree you must leave the site immediately. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Eligibility and Permitted Use

The site is intended for adults resident in the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions where access is lawful. You must be at least 18 years old. You may use the site only for lawful professional development in studio equipment integration, camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting setups and production processes. Commercial use beyond personal learning requires prior written consent from newsalix.

You must not use the site to promote competing services or publish defamatory material. Any breach may result in immediate suspension and legal action.

Any submissions such as course feedback or forum posts grant newsalix a non-exclusive licence to use the material for site improvement. All text, graphics, course materials and branding remain the exclusive property of newsalix or its licensors. You may download materials solely for personal non-commercial study. Availability, Changes, Suspension and Termination

newsalix aims to keep the site available but makes no warranty of uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or terminate any part of the site at any time without notice. Upon termination your right to use the site ceases immediately.

Disclaimers Subject to Mandatory Consumer Law

The site and its content are provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law newsalix excludes all warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Limitation of Liability

Subject to the preceding section, newsalix’s total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to newsalix in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit or data.

You agree to indemnify and hold newsalix harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

Governing Law, Courts and Consumer Dispute Rights

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in the United Kingdom may bring proceedings in their local courts. Alternative dispute resolution is available through the UK government’s online dispute resolution platform.

Severability, Waiver, Changes, Contact Route and Last-Updated Date

If any provision is found invalid the remainder continues in force. Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver. newsalix may update these terms at any time; the current version will always be displayed.
