About newsalix
On a mission to make live television dependable
newsalix is a professional hub for live television production. We bring together studio equipment integration, dynamic camera techniques, acoustic optimisation, lighting design and robust production processes for news programmes, interviews and live shows.

Our story
newsalix began with a handful of studio engineers who were tired of watching good programmes undermined by poor sound, flat lighting and fragile workflows. We set out to create a single place where producers across the United Kingdom could find the expertise to build studios that simply work.
Today we support regional newsrooms, independent interview formats and large live entertainment productions, always with the same approach: understand the show, design for failure, and rehearse until it is routine.
What guides our work
Reliability first
Every system we design has a tested fallback, because live television never gets a second take.
Craft over gadgets
We choose equipment for the shot and the sound you need, not for the longest specification list.
Teach the crew
A studio only performs when the people running it understand it, so training is part of every project.
Honest pricing
Clear written quotes in pounds sterling with no hidden extras once the scope is agreed.
How we plan a production
We begin on paper: floor plans, camera positions, sight lines, cable routes and power. Only when the plan survives scrutiny do we install, then we test with your real rundown and your real crew before the first broadcast.

Meet the team
A dynamic group of engineers, operators and designers united by a passion for television that works first time.
